Registration is now open to eat and dance away the night to raise funds for innovative programs that increase educational equity in Seattle Public Schools.
The Alliance for Education is hosting their Annual Gala, Auction + After Party again this year on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 5:30 – 10 p.m. at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle.
The evening will consist of a hosted reception from 5:30 – 7 p.m., live program and auction from 7 – 9 p.m. and after party from 9 – 10 p.m. featuring local band Chapter 5 amidst the rich character and breathtaking architecture of the Grand Ballroom. All funds raised go toward the organization’s mission supporting excellence in education by advancing educational justice and racial equity for students in Seattle Public Schools.
“The Alliance raises dollars and implements programs that increase equity across the district. As a result of these efforts, Seattle students benefit from the Seattle Teacher Residency program, the Right Now Needs Fund, the Office of African American Male Achievement and more,” says Lisa Chick, president & ceo at Alliance for Education and herself a Seattle Public Schools parent.
