Lippitt
Alice is a dedicated educator, mentor and program leader with over eight years of experience in Seattle’s public schools and teacher preparation programs. A proud alum of the Seattle Teacher Residency (Cohort 2) and a graduate of the University of Washington’s College of Education, Alice holds a Master in Teaching and a B.A. in Early Childhood and Family Studies. Her work is deeply rooted in a commitment to educational justice, equity and fostering inclusive learning communities.
Throughout their career, Alice has supported pre-service educators through mentorship and coaching with a focus on culturally responsive pedagogy and equitable classroom practice. They have served as a mentor teacher within STR, collaborated with instructional coaches and district leaders and co-led a Racial Equity Team.
With a professional foundation grounded in Seattle Public Schools and long-standing partnerships with the University of Washington and STR, Alice is deeply invested in systems that prepare highly effective, equity-driven educators for Seattle’s classrooms. Her leadership is guided by curiosity, adaptability and a passion for collective growth.
Outside of work, Alice is a proud parent to her new baby, a seasoned marathon runner, sourdough enthusiast and a former nationally competitive coxswain. She values time outside, spending time with family and friends, and opportunities for lifelong learning—interests that continue to fuel her joy, resilience and purpose in the field of education.
