Sanya is an artist and a professional with experience since 2018 in varied roles across different non-profit institutions, including the Seattle Art Museum (SAM). She is passionate about fostering public engagement and community building through inclusive experiences and communication; skills and experiences she brings with her to this role at the Alliance.

She immigrated from Pakistan during the pandemic and has enjoyed exploring all the PNW offers. As a creative, Sanya’s art explores themes of identity, home and belonging. She is also a freelance family and lifestyle photographer and loves connecting with new folks in Seattle through her business. In her free time she loves being out and about with her husband and camera, exploring new trails, parks and eateries.
