Zeynab leads the Right Now Needs Fund, a one-of-a-kind program that addresses the immediate basic needs of students and families across all Seattle Public Schools buildings.

Zeynab started her career in policy as an intern at the Virginia House of Delegates, then went on to work at a state and local government affairs firm analyzing federal and state policy trends in healthcare and education. Prior to joining the Alliance for Education team, Zeynab worked on Governor Jay Inslee’s 2016 re-election campaign, organizing fundraising events throughout Washington State.

Zeynab attended Virginia Commonwealth University and received her BA in Political Science. She is currently a graduate student at Seattle University pursuing her MPA. Zeynab enjoys biking and traveling.
