Zoe
Poynor
Zoe started her career in direct service working with families experiencing housing instability in the San Francisco Bay Area. She then explored nonprofit development and fundraising at the Alliance in 2019 where she stewarded several large foundation and corporate grants and partnerships. She continued this work at Committee for Children, a non-profit that supports the social and emotional skills and development of students around the world. While at Committee for Children, she helped build a new fundraising department and diversified funding streams.
Truly believing in the work the Alliance does advancing educational justice and racial equity for Seattle students, Zoe returns to the Alliance after her time at Committee for Children to serve as the Development Director on the advancement team.
Zoe is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and received a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Southern California. In her free time she enjoys taking neighborhood walks, reading, traveling, and spending time with her partner and their two cats.
